  • Sober Reflection

It was all joy and smile
As I rolled out of the factory.
Like a new minted coin, I shone.
I didn't worth much, but I was worthy and wanted.

    Everyday was wishes of bliss.
But sooner I became an object of boredom.
    A home to call mine I desired, or at least traded for a fair price;
But there are more where I came from.

Like a used and unwanted toy,
I was cast off, left alone on the lawn.
Pounded and drowned by the element,
But cleaner than yesterday I glow

Grilled and peeled by the element,
    Left to rust and rot.
Hoping to break up, yet I wake up.
    Not forever desired,
    But eternally I live.
    I am plastic.

  • How can 3 grown men be this mischievous . They just reminded me of that episode where Tom received the beating of his life when he locked himself up with a lion thinking only Jerry was in the room. The screams at the end of this video though epic!!

  • The uncertainty of life is a reality many overlook. "Here today, gone tomorrow" isn't just a phrase—it's a profound truth. Through all the trials, challenges, breakthroughs, and joyous moments, the one constant that should anchor us is love. To give love and to have given love is the purest of purposes, the essence that lends our lives meaning and dignity. We must move beyond the habit of singing praises to a good person only after they’re gone. If you are a being of truth, start now—this very moment—to cherish the love you have, to honor the lives intertwined with yours, and to speak the words that matter today. Appreciate those who share your journey before their presence becomes only a memory. Let your love be bold, authentic, and unapologetic; for in the end, it is the love we give and the love we receive that will stand as our true legacy.

  • **Surviving a Bad Economy:
Tips for Thriving During Tough Times**

Surviving in a struggling economy is a significant challenge. Don't let the polished posts on social media deceive you—times are harder now than they have been in the past 16 years. In such times, finding a balance between securing basic amenities and maintaining a comfortable living condition is crucial. Here are some tips to help you stay ahead during these difficult times:

    1. **Develop a Skill:** One of the most reliable ways to keep up with the rising cost of living is to have a valuable skill. Unlike a traditional 9-to-5 job, having a marketable skill can provide additional income opportunities. Skills related to housing and shelter, food, nutrition and well-being, ICT services, transportation, and deliveries are highly valued and in demand.

    2. **Group Contribution and Savings:** For those earning a modest income, participating in a group savings or contribution plan can be a game-changer. Dedicating a portion of your income to monthly or weekly group savings can provide the necessary funds to restock food supplies, pay bills, cover school fees, pay rent, or even start a side hustle.

    3. **Farming:** Embracing farming, especially if you have the space, can help you manage food costs effectively. Growing crops like cassava, okra, pumpkin, tomatoes, peppers, plantains, and bananas, or even starting a fish or Black Soldier Fly Maggot farm, can be highly beneficial. Many of these can be cultivated in small spaces, making them suitable for micro-gardens.

    4. **Affiliate Marketing:** Affiliate marketing remains one of the most lucrative ways to earn money both online and offline. The best part is that anyone with a mobile device can start affiliate marketing. All you need is a credible program to promote and start earning commissions.

    5. **Declutter Business:** Helping people sell their used items is another effective way to earn during tough times. A declutter business connects sellers of used items with potential buyers who need them. You can earn substantial commissions by facilitating these sales.

    ---

These tips can help individuals navigate the current economic challenges by leveraging skills, savings, and innovative income-generating ideas.
